Updates Released to Fix Surface Tablet Wi-Fi

The monthly Patch Tuesday update for the Windows RT of Microsoft has started already according to a report from theverge.com. Users if the Surface RT tablet will see eleven updates for the operating system that will deal with a number of security issues. In addition to updating the Windows RT of the Microsoft Surface tablet, it will also update the Office 2013 RT software.

The update will also enhance the consistency of the Wi-Fi feature of the Microsoft tablet, according to a support representative of the Microsoft. The most recent updates follow an earlier update that was released a month ago that enhanced the performance of the software

According to Jordana, a Surface support engineer, the updates offer support for Access Point through Wi-Fi that have characters that are non-standard. The latest update will also deal with the limitations on Wi-Fi connectivity.  Some users of the Surface RT tablet revealed some issues concerning Wi-Fi connectivity in a number of threads at the support site of Microsoft. The recent update shows that Microsoft aims to deal with these issues. The most recent update for the Microsoft Surface tablet also has a patch that aims to make certain that the device will switch automatically to the appropriate time zone whenever there are changes due to daylight saving time.
