Microsoft Surface Tablet

With the release of the Microsoft Surface tablet, a video that discussed the way the company came up with the design of the device was posted on the official YouTube channel of the device. This comes even with a backlog in the online orders of the Surface RT tablet.

The discussion revealed that density, lightness and strength of the magnesium alloy material became the basis of using the metal for the device. The company had to go through one hundred fifty steps in producing the smooth finish of the tablet. The video also showed how the company drop-tested in the lab.

The video clip indicated that the integrated kickstand is available whenever it was needed. It can also be folded in when it was not needed. The 16:9 aspect ratio of the display was also discussed in the video. It highlighted the absence of air gaps between the screen and touch cover glass, which are fused together to create the display that is supposedly superior to all products that are currently being offered in the market.

The Surface RT tablet has a front-facing camera that can be used for video communication while the rear-facing camera can be used to record lectures while the user is taking notes. The company aims to make the users fall in love with the Microsoft Surface tablet and want to own one.
