Microsoft Surface Pro

All those who have been waiting for news on the Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet launch date take a deep breath. Microsoft has finally come up with a launch date for the Pro model. February 9th. Yes, that’s the date when the Surface Pro will be available for purchase across the United States and in Canada. In spite of the delay in the launch date (the Surface Pro was expected to be available starting January), no one should be complaining because of the stunning specs that await them come Feb 9th.

The Surface Pro which looks very much like the Surface RT will run the full version of Windows 8. It will support all existing desktop legacy applications apart from the ones that are specifically designed for Windows 8.

Design-wise the 10.6” screen and the Touch & Type covers are reminiscent of the Surface RT. However the full HD display, fantastic pen support and a Core i5 processor beating at its heart makes the Surface Pro a significantly better option than its older sibling.

On closer look the Surface Pro is slightly bulkier and thicker than the Surface RT but that should not be a deal breaker because at the end of the day this is significantly faster and packs a lot of punch.
