Surface RT Updates

Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday event has always been considered as the event when it comes to upgrades for all Microsoft software products. This Tuesday the scheduled event, which is going to be the last time Microsoft gets to update its products in 2012, is being considered as an especially important one. This is because the mysterious and somewhat infamous “MS_nerd” has posted the following message on his Twitter account – “This patch Tuesday is going to be important for getting Surface ready for the next step. Some services are going to be updated as well.”

“MS_nerd” has however stopped short of giving any specific details about the nature of the updates or what he means specifically by “the next step”. However it can be safely assumed that Office 365, Skype, SkyDrive and a host of other Microsoft products could be in the line for some updates before the end of the year.

In any ways, Tuesday does seem to be like the last big news for Microsoft, so long as software updates and other announcements are concerned. We will just have to wait and watch if “MS_nerd” is true in his / her predictions.
