Asus Transformer AiO

We have seen the 27” all-in-one PC from Lenovo which was revealed during the CES 2013, a design that can very well be used as a giant tablet. The tablet/PC or as Lenovo prefers to call it the “table PC” can be easily placed on the floor and used as well. To respond Asus has come up and released their own AIO Windows 8 tablet called the Transformer AiO. Similar in styling as the Lenovo “table PC’ but different in many of its specs, the Asus Transformer AiO comes with an 18.4” screen that boasts a display of 1920×1080. The screen can be removed from the stand and used separately as a tablet. The Transformer AiO runs an Intel core processor and has Windows 8 as the operating system. There is however no word on the battery life.

But the most surprising feature of this tablet is that it also runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on it. To enable this feature the tablet has a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor as well. Asus mentions that in order to switch all one need to do is to hit a button. Release date for this tablet is not yet revealed but so far as pricing is concerned the tablet will be priced at $1,299 with a Intel Core i3 processor beating at its heart. There are two more versions also, one powered by an Intel Core i5 chip and the other by an i7 chip. They are priced slightly higher.
