kindle fire hd 8.9 4g lte

Sweet November is here and the war of tablets has just started to escalate to an all new level. All the tablet and gadget manufacturers are releasing their, otherwise secretive, specs of upcoming releases in the hopes that gadget fan-boys and geeks might end up selecting their device for the festive season ahead. With Microsoft entering the tablet manufacturing ball game, the industry focus has shifted, to some extent, from Android and iOS based gadgets to these new Windows packaged entities. Many great tablets are coming up by the end of this month and Amazon has just announced Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE Android based tablet to hit the market on 20th November.

Of course Amazon has no intention to move away from their preferred Android OS, but this time, they don’t have a monopoly in the field. And why exactly it isn’t a monotonous field for Amazon alone? Well, the answer is simple. First Kindly only used to compete with other Android tabs, but this time around things will get different, heated and more competitive with Windows RT tabs challenging the existing status quo.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE Specs

The Fire HD 8.9 4G is set to be released on 20th November 2012 with some great features that will definitely amaze Amazon fans. Why Amazon fans? A certain kind of Amazon membership will qualify you to get this tablet at $ 70 (approx.) per month. Having said this, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE is set to be released with an Android 4.0 variant. This tablet will boast of the new IPS LCD with a capacitive touchscreen and a scratch resistant glass (we wonder if that is Gorilla glass? Anyone?).

Apart from these specifications, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE will be armed with a Dual core ARM 1.5 GHz processer complimented by a special PowerVR graphics processing system. There will be a 1 GB RAB on board and something called “Dual-Channel” will be its main characteristic. The built in storage will remain at 32 GB with no MicroSD card slot on board to let you expand it any further. All other usual specifications such as Wi-Fi connectivity, proximity sensors and Accelerometer will be available.

Surface RT VS Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE

Comparing the Windows Surface RT Tablet with this Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE Tablet, my definite preference would be to go with RT. However, RT isn’t that tome tested and since most of us will be looking at stability than catchy designs and creamy looks; Kindle Fire HD might win the battle on this one. Unavailability of an expansion slot in this tablet is definitely a turn-off for many, but for some who’d only want to play games, listen to music and read books; Kindle might just be the one.  Coming to processors, Windows Surface RTs Core i5 has the ability to beat living daylight out of OMAP processors any day. Some of the lucky guys had a hands-on with Kindle fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, and they loved the way they could stream movies, play games and got awed by extremely comfortable reading experience.

Well, I have given my own analysis. Now it is your time to let us know if you think you agree with me or you believe otherwise. The comments section is open for you! Let’s talk.
