windows 8 Tablets

A review was reportedly made on the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet prior to its official launch this coming Saturday, a ReadWriteWeb.com report revealed. More businesses are expected to use the Windows 8 Pro powered tablet since it will be able to run the newer Windows 8 “Modern” applications as well as the older Windows programs, which is not possible on the Surface RT tablet.

The results of a survey conducted by Forrester Research were released recently. The survey indicates that the Windows 8 based tablet is preferred over Android-powered tablets and the iPad by IT workers. The result of the survey, which involved 9,766 workers in the IT industry, was revealed by ReadWriteWeb. Around 32 percent of the respondents showed that they prefer a Windows-based tablet compared to the 12 percent who prefer an Android tablet and 26 percent who would opt for the iPad.

The report of Forrester revealed that the data shows three effects for CIOs. The first effect is that Android and Apple devices will supply most of the needs of businesses. The other effects are that Microsoft can still do well in the market and multiplatform is the key to success.
