Surface Pro Tablet

For those who have been waiting rather eagerly for the Surface Pro may just consider themselves one more step closer to their coveted device. A mystery Microsoft tablet, the 1514, has recently got the approval of the FCC. Although, there has been no indication from anywhere, as yet, that this device is what we believe it is, but the fact that the current Surface tablet runs on RT and that this one is described to be running Windows 8 does explain a lot of things. Incidentally the 1514 is only two digits away from the 1516 (Surface RT Tablet) that one can buy today. There are not many new bells and whistles in terms of any new wireless technologies in it as this device seems to be having only 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. However that may not be a heart breaker for consumers. If Microsoft is actually working secretly to meet their January 2013 deadline the clearing of the FCC guidelines could just be one major hurdle crossed for them.
