The Microsoft Surface Pro will enter the market on February 9, and it appears it will be accompanied with a new set of Surface Touch Covers, according to a wpcentral.com report. Three artists were behind the design of these laser-etched Touch covers, which are similar to previous releases of the company such as the limited edition series of the Microsoft Mice.

Each of the Touch Covers costs $139, which is $10 higher compared to the standard Touch Cover. This means consumers pay a premium in order to purchase these designer covers. The three designer covers were created by Liu Qing, Kate Bailey and Joy Deangdeelert Cho. The three designed Year of the Snake, Skulls and Flowers respectively.

Surface RT tablet users may already have the Touch cover for their devices, which makes the new designer covers more of a luxury expense. The Microsoft Surface Pro will not come with a Type or a Touch cover even though it’s priced at $899. The new designer covers will make their devices appear elegant, if they choose to purchase it.

Aside from the designer Touch Covers, reports have indicated at the possible release of a new Wedge Mouse that was inspired by the Surface tablet. It remains uncertain of the device will be similar to the current Wedge Touch Mouse. However since its still coming soon, it may have a different appearance. The upcoming Surface Tablet Mouse will have a price tag of $69.95.
