Apps for surface rt

Up until now if you wanted to check out PDF files in Windows 8 and wanted Adobe Reader to do the job for you, you would have to go to your desktop and use the specific version of the software. Not any more. A new Windows 8 Reader app from Adobe released recently can take care of the job quite easily.

This new app now available on Windows Store allows users to not only access the PDF files that are on his Smartphone but also on his PC and on the web. Additionally it will be possible to share the file with others using the Share charm and or bring up embedded links in the file on a separate browser window.

The Adobe Reader Windows 8 app allows users to not only read password protected files but also access drawing and annotations that might have been put into the document by others. Users can also use a semantic zoom that enables them to check how many pages there are in the document.

While a lot of readers are already using the Microsoft app for reading Adobe PDF documents, the launch of the official Adobe PDF Reader app is much appreciated.
